We stock commercially pure, standard grade Molybdenum sheets in thicknesses starting at 0.005”.  Our unmatched range of sheets thicknesses extends to 0.125”.   We provide in-house precision waterjet cutting and shearing services for customers who prefer to receive their materials cut to specification.  Your sheet order ships with certification and conforms to ASTM B386 Type 361.

Molybdenum Description

Molybdenum is an element identified by the symbol Mo and the atomic number 42.  It is part of the group of transition metals and is also referenced as a refractory metal.  Refractory metals have a higher melting point than platinum (1772°C) and pure Molybdenum exhibits a high melting point of 2620°C.  The thermal expansion characteristics of Mo are approximately one-third of stainless steels.
